Installation HPHD

How To Install Your RHO-Lens

RHO-Lens HPHD Set-Up Notes

Fitting your HPHD lenses is simple with our straightforward instructions

  1.  Unscrew the 4 screws of the casing of the Headplay HD. Open the casing and remove the fresnel lens.
  2. Close the casing with the 4 screws.
  3. Place the RHO-Lens HPHD over the nose chamber, press it down and rotate it forward until it is parallel to the screen. Ensure that it is tightly clamped between both casing halves and cannot fall out.

Some Installation Tips

  • If it is too hard to rotate the RHO-Lens forward then you can unscrew the 4 screws a bit. If there is still too much resistance then you can lift the upper casing halve a bit with the left hand. Be careful. Do not forget to tighten all screws at the end!
  • Do not install the RHO-Lens with the Headplay HD facing down. The lens may fall in and damage the screen. Better lay the Headplay HD on a table.
  • The RHO-Lens is designed to be close to your eyes. Start with the closest possible position and if you have problems to focus the image then increase the distance step by step. This will increase the focus distance and decrease the field of view (FOV). There is a wide range of moving the lens, but if it is too far away from your eyes then the lens corners may cut off the image corners. Put a test picture on HDMI and find your favorite lens position.
  • Do not try to move the RHO-Lens to any position when it is clamped in upright position. It may break or damage the casing. Better rotate it backward and then place it in the new position.
  • If you are used to wear glasses then you will most probably get the best results by using both the RHO-Lens and your glasses.
